Hitty friends are often looking for other great doll books. There is only one Hitty, but many of us find that Hitty's adventures leave us wanting more! When I began compiling a reading list for myself of other fiction doll books about 'live' dolls, I decided to share my list on-line so that others can have a list of doll books without having to do all of the research.

My book lists contain all the books I have found, heard of, or discovered references to that are or may be about 'sentient' dolls. The 'Live Doll Books' list contains books I know to be about thinking dolls. The second list is 'Uncategorized Books,' which are books that I think may be about sentient dolls, but I have not read them and am unsure. Also offered are a list of books about 'live' toys and stuffed animals, and a list of books about magic dollhouses.

I am Tracy Robert, The Doll Book Collector. I am an elementary teacher with a large collection of children's books, including many of the doll books found on this list.
