Hitty's Desk

Hitty's original desk is made from beautiful bird's-eye maple
wood, 3/16" thick, stained medium dark, and varnished to a high gloss.
The overall dimensions are: 3 9/16" Wide x 4" High x 3 1/2" Deep.
There is a decorative crescent shape cut out from each side as shown above.
The desk lid hinges up to gain access to the storage space beneath. Use two
small brass hobby butt hinges, mounted on the top surface of the desktop and
desk lid.
The following pieces are required:
Back: 3 1/4" W x 4" H
Sides (2): 3 1/2" W x 4" H
Lower Shelf: 3 1/4" W x 1 1/2" D
Upper Shelf: 3 1/4" W x 2 5/8" D
Front Piece: 3 1/4" W x 3/8" H
Desk Lid: 3 7/32" W x 2 1/4"D
Desk Top: 3 1/4" W x 7/8" D
