A warm, comfy reading nook looked out over a roof tiled in slate and copper.


It seemed as if EVERYTHING in the Stockbridge Library was a beautiful antique, including the library itself!

"Well," Said Mrs. Plum, "This seems like the perfect, safe, quiet place for our girls to get out for a stretch, a look around, and a picnic lunch!"

"But Mrs. Poppy!" Whispered Hitty Marigold urgently, "Mrs. Poppy, we can't EAT in a LIBRARY!" Mrs. Poppy chuckled.

"Dolls can always eat doll food if they want to!" She said with a wink. "Ok, girls, everyone out!
