CAMP ASH GROVE-A Tour of Stockbridge-June/July 2004-page6

The Girls all agree, it's the perfect place for a camp picnic! After their dollsnacks, The Girls get together for a big camp portrait.

"But Wait!" Cries a Thompson Hitty, "How can it be a Library picture without some books?!" The girls search the shelves for some interesting browsing material, while they digest their lunches. (Well, at least the books make GREAT seats for lounging and chatting!)

"Now" Announced Hitty Thea, a counselor, "We've taken the full-camp pictures, but all of your Moms and families are going to want to SEE you. SO, please keep your places....," over loud groans and moans, she shouted "Please keep your places! We will be coming around to take close-up pictures of you in small groups. THEN you can move about and visit! What if you moved around too much and we didn't get you in any picture?!" At this sobering thought, all the campers stayed quietly in place and discussed Great-Aunt Teddy's after-lunch topic "How Can Every Hitty Take Care to be Well-Preserved?" or gazed about the lovely old room while counselors snapped pictures of every group.
